Job Summary
DePuy Synthes is recruiting a Global Digital Commercial Solutions Lead to serve as the business product owner for digital solutions that empower the DePuy Synthes Field Sales Organization. This role reports to the Director, Global Digital Experience Platform and bridges commercial strategy with digital product ownership, owning the roadmap and governance of FSO‑facing digital solutions across business units and markets.
Key Responsibilities
Global Business Product Ownership
– Own the global product strategy, roadmap, and governance for FSO marketing enablement solutions across all DePuy Synthes business units and markets; define product vision for a future‑state unified enablement platform that consolidates fragmented solutions. Lead platform governance, standards, and change‑control processes.
Field Sales Discovery & Design Thinking
– Lead a structured, design‑thinking driven discovery process to understand FSO needs; conduct research, stakeholder interviews, and journey mapping; synthesize insights into actionable product requirements and a prioritized feature roadmap; validate product decisions against field feedback.
Platform Consolidation & Future‑State Solution Design
– Evaluate current FSO enablement solutions, identify redundancies and gaps; define requirements for a future‑state solution that supports all markets; partner with DXP platform, IT, and vendors to assess technology options and support implementation planning; ensure scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
eCatalog Transition & Scaling
– Support the transition and scaling of the Orthopaedics eCatalog; partner with PIM, commercial operations, and BU Marketing to ensure accuracy and alignment; define roadmap for eCatalog evolution; establish governance and content‑management processes.
Cross‑Functional Stakeholder Partnership
– Act as the central point of coordination among Field Sales, BU Marketing, Commercial Operations, DXP, and IT; build relationships with FSO leadership to maintain continuous feedback; collaborate with Marketing Automation, Web, and Community teams to integrate FSO enablement solutions; work with CRM and regulatory teams to ensure compliance.
Platform Operations & Vendor Management
– Manage day‑to‑day operations of current FSO enablement platforms; define vendor scopes, SLAs, and metrics; manage vendor relationships; coordinate upgrades, feature releases, and integrations with IT and DXP.
Analytics, Measurement & Continuous Improvement
– Define KPIs for solution effectiveness; build dashboards and reporting; use data and field feedback to continuously optimize the enablement experience.
Change Leadership & Adoption
– Develop and deliver training, onboarding materials, and playbooks to drive adoption; partner with BU Marketing and Commercial Operations for change management; evangelize unified enablement approach across the organization.
Strategic Impact
– Equip the Field Sales Organization with a modern, streamlined digital experience; reduce fragmentation and inefficiency; ensure enablement works synergistically within the broader Digital Experience Platform; enable data‑driven product decisions; support the launch and scaling of the eCatalog; build a governed, scalable capability that grows with DePuy Synthes.
Scope of Influence
Own the global product roadmap and governance for FSO‑facing digital enablement solutions.
Shape the future‑state architecture of marketing content delivery to the sales organization.
Drive cross‑functional alignment between commercial, marketing, and technology teams around a unified enablement vision.
Serve as the escalation point for platform issues and high‑priority commercial enablement needs.
Influence vendor and technology decisions that have long‑term impact on the digital experience.
Experience & Qualifications
Required
– Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in digital product ownership, sales enablement, marketing technology, or related field.
Demonstrated senior business product owner experience for digital platforms.
Experience conducting user research, journey mapping, and design‑thinking discovery.
Experience managing or consolidating multiple digital solutions across a complex, matrixed organization.
Strong cross‑functional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience operating in regulated industries (MedTech, pharmaceutical, healthcare).
Strong project and release management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
English required; 20% travel.
Preferred
– Master’s degree or advanced certification in digital strategy, marketing technology, or related field.
Hands‑on experience with FSO enablement platforms such as Showpad, Salesforce Communities, or comparable solutions.
Familiarity with enterprise CMS, DAM, PIM, or eCatalog platforms.
Experience with Sitecore or comparable digital experience platforms.
Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
Experience with CRM platforms and integrations.
Experience supporting enterprise carve‑outs, separations, or large‑scale digital transformation initiatives.
Background in orthopaedics, surgical technology, medical devices, or related healthcare categories.

Base salary range: $122,000 – $245,000 USD annually.
Retirement plan (pension and 401(k)).
Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year.
Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours in Colorado, 56 hours in Washington).
Holiday pay and floating holidays: 13 days per calendar year.
Work, Personal and Family Time: up to 40 hours per calendar year.
Parental Leave: 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care.
Bereavement Leave: 240 hours (40 hours for extended family per calendar year).
Caregiver Leave: 80 hours per 52‑week rolling period and 10 days.
