Responsibilities
Write effective copy based on project goals, audience, and other factors, using the appropriate tone and word choice.
Develop copy for various platforms (websites, social media, advertising, calendars, etc.) in a timely manner.
Review and rewrite copy on many platforms to ensure writing is clear, brief when necessary, and free of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and factual errors.
Double‑check copy on projects before they are launched.
Collaborate with graphic designers to blend copy and design into effective marketing and communications.
Create and set up email newsletters on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Write longer‑form articles and blog posts.
Manage websites, signage, social media captions, videos and closed captioning, ad brochures, and more.
Work closely with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, social media coordinators, and campus partners to create necessary campaigns.
Collaborate with various members of the marketing team and professional staff/clients from around the Office of Student Life.
Education and Experience
Required: Currently enrolled as a student with Indiana University.

Work Details
Location: Bloomington, Indiana. This is an in‑person position.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
Hours: 10–12 hours per week, flexible schedule based on availability.
This position is eligible for Work‑Study. It requires the ability to effectively communicate and operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The role involves primarily sedentary work with occasional periods of movement around an office environment. The person must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.
