A Day in the Life of the Marketing Manager – Demand Generation
In this role, you'll own the patient acquisition funnel and help drive enrollment across multiple clinical research sites. You'll partner with leadership to improve marketing ROI, analyze campaign performance, manage external marketing vendors, and deliver strategic recommendations that directly impact business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, solving problems, and building scalable marketing processes in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities include:
Plan and execute marketing events, community outreach initiatives, sponsorships, trade shows, and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and patient engagement.
Own and optimize the patient recruitment funnel across multiple clinical research sites
Create and manage branded marketing materials, promotional merchandise, company swag, and event collateral that strengthen brand awareness and support recruitment campaigns.
Develop marketing strategies that increase qualified patient enrollment while improving cost per lead
Direct and evaluate outsourced digital marketing partners, including SEO, social media, paid advertising, website updates, and content initiatives
Establish KPIs and hold external vendors accountable for campaign performance
Analyze CRM and campaign data to identify trends, optimize budgets, and improve marketing effectiveness
Deliver executive-level weekly marketing reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations
Manage patient communication and incentive programs using Textedly
Maintain and improve marketing assets for the business development team, including physician partnership materials and study collateral
Coordinate printed marketing materials, signage, event displays, and promotional pieces
Plan and support community outreach events, sponsorships, trade shows, health fairs, and other brand awareness initiatives
Collaborate with leadership to identify new growth opportunities and continuously improve marketing processes
Travel occasionally to support company locations and marketing events
Requirements and Qualifications:
2–5 years of marketing or demand generation experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign and CRM data
Experience creating executive-level reports with actionable business recommendations
Proven ability to own projects from strategy through execution
Self-starter with an ownership mindset who proactively identifies opportunities and solutions
Experience managing external marketing agencies or vendors
Comfortable learning new technology and marketing platforms quickly
Experience with or ability to quickly learn Airtable, Textedly, Canva, and AI tools
Familiarity with major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, and Snapchat
Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
Willingness to work onsite in Ogden, Utah with occasional travel
