$22.50–$30.02 per hour (plus $60 Hazardous Duty Pay biweekly)

Schedule:

7:00 – 3:00, Saturdays and Sundays off

Summary
Responsible for all phases of day‑to‑day operation of the correctional system law libraries, general libraries and two satellite libraries, working closely with prisoners daily and ensuring security.

Minimum Qualifications

Equivalent combination of 4 years of education and experience after high school. Education and experience must be in library science, education, communications, or a related field; at least one year must be in a supervisory or management position.

Valid driver’s license and access to statewide transportation.

Certification or eligibility through the NH State Department of Education Certification Office in Library Media.

Experience in library or media program work including processing, circulation, dissemination of information, preparation of instructional materials, and operation of specialized technological services.

Each additional year of approved formal education may substitute for one year of required work experience and vice versa.
