What You’ll Do
Strategic Planning (30%) : Use your understanding of the media planning process to support the Senior Strategist and Supervisor across a multitude of client deliverables. Create, format, and update flowcharts, plan sheets, planning cost worksheets, and various client trackers; ensuring output is accurate and delivered briskly to handle the high volume of client deliverables.
Collaborate on the development of POVs for new media opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Utilize consumer research tools (YouGov, MRI, eMarketer Cadence) to identify key trends and insights to inform plan recommendations.
Continue to strengthen your understanding of media strategy and applications.
Account Management (40%) : Maintain flawless execution and detail across all deliverables, ensuring swift output while preserving quality.
Prepare and distribute traffic instructions, partner with the Traffic team to track deadlines and deliverables, and respond to inquiries appropriately.
Oversee billing and budget maintenance, working closely with the budget analyst when applicable.
Organize team documents and maintain timelines to meet all client deadlines.
Contribute to frameworks and templates for presentation decks, team projects, and monthly recaps of team highlights.
Build and foster open communication with clients and media partners, serving as a key HMI contact.
Internal Relationship Management (30%) : Collaborate with Senior Strategist and Supervisor to identify problems and recommend solutions.
Keep Senior Strategist and Supervisor updated on the status and timing of deliverables.
Engage and interact effectively with other Horizon departments (Investment, Traffic, Operations).
Apply knowledge of current/previous clients’ specific businesses and industries to enhance relationships.
Form close relationships with other Strategists, working across pods to support each other and the greater team.
Collaborate with and help Strategist colleagues in skill development to promote strong baseline support.
Contribute to future performance reviews of Assistant Strategists, identifying strengths and growth areas.
Participate in the interview process for future Assistant Strategist positions.

Preferred Skills & Experience
1+ years previous media planning experience, with multiple media channels preferred.
Strong understanding of media math, terminology, and analytical tools (MRI, Nielsen).
Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to discuss how those functions can or should be applied relative to the media planning process.
Prior experience working on a dynamic, fast‑paced entertainment brand.
Client relationship management experience.
Experience developing and presenting plan presentations.
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $66,300.00 – $80,000.00. The actual base salary may vary based on the applicant’s skills, experience, training, education, and qualifications.
