Role Summary
The Inbound Marketing Consultant is responsible for delivering client service, strategy and project management for WindFarm client partnerships.
A Day In The Life of an Inbound Marketing Consultant
At WindFarm, our Inbound Marketing Consultants drive measurable awareness, engagement, traffic, leads, and sales by leading, delivering, and optimizing inbound marketing campaigns for a portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
Build inbound marketing game plans or strategy presentations.
Develop detailed buyer personas for new clients.
Generate content strategy for each stage of a buyer’s journey.
Update project management platform to ensure timely deliverables that meet deadlines.
Manage a client’s new campaign end‑to‑end (strategy, graphics delivery, content creation, ads, landing page design, analytics, and reporting).
Lead client communication and meetings, navigating sophisticated marketing discussions with Marketing Directors, CMOs, and Owners.
Create and test email campaigns.
Define lead scoring and lead nurturing marketing automation workflows.
Write content orders for blog posts or educational downloads.
Curate content for social media posts.
Create an editorial calendar for a client.
Participate in internal strategy meetings.
Evaluate active/past campaigns, develop insights from data, and recommend strategy improvements.
Create or refine audience targeting, ad creative, or copy tied to social or PPC ads.
Optimize a website page for SEO.
Skills & Experience
Maintain a positive attitude in the midst of challenging situations.
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or related field.
Two years of successful client strategy and service record in an agency environment managing multiple key accounts.
Two years of delivering effective digital marketing campaigns and results.
Proven client communication and project management ninja.
Experience with marketing automation software (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.).
Mastery of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google AdWords advertising platforms.
Incredible attention to detail and excellent writing skills.
Healthy methods of coping with stress while navigating challenging conversations and maintaining an open and positive disposition toward others.
Strong listening, verbal, and client troubleshooting skills.
Desire to work and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and partially virtual environment.
A self‑starter who thrives on responsibility and impressing clients with results.
A voraciousness for reading and staying current on the dynamic world of digital marketing and marketing automation.

Preferred Education & Experience
Master’s degree in sales, marketing, or business administration.
Five years of related experience with progressive client management experience.
Two years working in an inbound agency environment managing multiple key accounts.
