Summary Of The Job The Marketing Manager – Wealth & Institutional Services at FNBO plays a pivotal role in shaping the marketing and communications strategies that drive measurable business outcomes across FNBO’s Wealth and Institutional segment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for translating business objectives into strategic marketing plans and delivering high-impact campaigns that influence desired client and prospect behaviors, accelerate growth, and strengthen brand equity.
Through hands‑on campaign leadership and close partnership with business leaders, key stakeholders, and Marketing Centers of Excellence, you’ll ensure the successful execution and optimization of marketing initiatives aligned to FNBO’s core objectives: building, enhancing, and protecting the brand; acquiring new clients; deepening existing relationships; and improving marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
Working closely with Marketing Leadership, Business Leadership, and Centers of Excellence, you’ll lead campaign strategy, messaging and offer development, and data‑driven performance analytics to continually refine approaches based on market insights and financial outcomes.
About This Role Job Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities Strategic Business Partnership Serve as day‑to‑day marketing liaison to Business Leadership for assigned lines of business
Translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies with defined success metrics
Contribute insights and recommendations to strategic planning discussions
Present strategic recommendations and performance insights to senior stakeholders
Marketing Strategy & Planning Contribute to end‑to‑end marketing and communications strategy for assigned product lines
Develop detailed tactical plans for lifecycle marketing approaches spanning awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention based on strategic direction
Help define customer segmentation, targeting strategies, and messaging frameworks
Build integrated campaign plans across channels (digital, direct mail, email, events, etc.) that bring strategic vision to life
Campaign Ownership & Execution Own end‑to‑end campaign execution for strategic initiatives, working with Project Managers support for coordination of campaign deliverables
Lead campaign briefings with Centers of Excellence to ensure strategic intent is maintained and executional excellence is achieved
Make real‑time optimization decisions during campaign flight to maximize performance
Maintain hands‑on involvement in critical campaign elements including targeting, messaging, offer structure, creative development, and channel deployment
Manage day‑to‑day campaign operations including troubleshooting, vendor and/or Project Manager coordination, and quality assurance
Drive continuous improvement through in‑flight testing and optimization
Growth & Performance Management Track and report against marketing KPIs and growth objectives in alignment with business targets
Manage campaign budgets and contribute to marketing P&L and ROI analysis for assigned portfolios
Conduct ongoing performance analysis and recommend strategic optimization based on data insights
Develop and execute testing agendas to continuously improve campaign effectiveness within established strategic frameworks
Identify performance trends and opportunities
Cross‑Functional Leadership Partner with Project Managers and Centers of Excellence to ensure flawless campaign execution and on‑time delivery
Collaborate with Analytics to leverage customer insights and predictive modeling for tactical application
Work with Product teams to align marketing strategies with product roadmaps and strategic direction
Direct creative development with Centers of Excellence, ensuring brand consistency and strategic alignment
Serve as primary point of contact for business unit, operational marketing questions (working through the project manager) and execution details
Market Intelligence Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends
Incorporate customer research and behavioral insights into strategy
Identify new opportunities for customer acquisition and portfolio growth
Key Skills Strategic Marketing Leadership Proven ability to translate strategic direction into detailed plans that drive business results
Experience executing multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining strategic alignment
Strong execution mindset with ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on implementation
Financial & Analytical Acumen Strong ROI orientation with experience managing campaign budgets and contributing to P&L analysis
Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into tactical optimizations and strategic recommendations
Proficiency with marketing analytics tools and performance dashboards
Business Partnership Experience working directly with senior business leaders as a strategic partner
Ability to influence without authority and build consensus across stakeholders
Strong presentation and communication skills
Customer‑Centric Thinking Deep understanding of customer journey mapping and lifecycle marketing
Experience with segmentation, personalization, persona, and behavioral targeting
Knowledge of acquisition funnel optimization
Execution Excellence Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution
Experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously
Results‑oriented with strong project ownership
Comfortable working in both strategic and tactical capacities
Minimum Qualifications The Ideal Candidate for This Role Required Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
5–7+ years of marketing experience with demonstrated execution excellence and strategic impact
Investment industry experience in a B2B setting (institutional financial services experience preferred)
Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes through marketing and communications strategies
Experience managing compliance review processes for investment‑related marketing content
Experience with marketing analytics, campaign performance measurement, and ROI analysis
Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
Ability to work in fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders
Desired Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools
Experience with account‑based marketing (ABM) strategies and tools
MBA or advanced degree
Familiarity with digital marketing channels and attribution modeling
Previous experience in asset management, investment banking, or institutional financial services marketing
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
Compensation Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00‑$134,741.00.
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment This position is open to remote candidates, reflecting our commitment to attracting exceptional talent regardless of geography. We’ve designed a flexible work arrangement that adapts to your geographic location. For candidates residing within 30 miles of the primary posted location, this position requires onsite presence three (3) days a week. For those beyond this radius, embrace the freedom to contribute to our mission remotely while maintaining strong team connections. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
