Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is looking for a Substitute Core Agent who shares a passion for excellence and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This position reports to the Core Manager and requires work authorization for the location.
About the Hotel

The Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is an architectural icon in Lower Manhattan, offering residents, guests, and partners a luxurious yet warm experience that blends art with contemporary architecture.
Responsibilities

Sell the hotel and provide detailed information to prospective guests.
Capture sales from incoming calls and coordinate reservations for all hotel rooms, spa, restaurants, bar, and room service.
Ensure guests are well looked after from the start.
Maintain flawless operation of all communication channels, including phone and paging systems.
Provide general information about the hotel and respond to emergencies by connecting callers to the appropriate individuals via phone or radio.
Act as the friendly and courteous voice of the Room Service and Housekeeping teams.
Serve as the authority on all available food menus, daily specials, alternative cuisine, and beverage lists.
Make recommendations to accommodate guests’ preferences and dietary restrictions.
Oversee the entire sequence of service—ensuring guest accommodations, calls, food and beverage orders, and housekeeping requests are processed and delivered within the stated timeframes according to Four Seasons Standards.
Assume responsibility for the department in the absence of a manager.
Qualifications and Skills

Experienced customer service professional with excellent phone skills.
Ability to multitask, problem solve, and thrive in a high-volume contact environment.
Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and teamwork.
Comfortable using computer systems and communicating over the telephone.
Pleasant voice, positive attitude, and solid personal presentation.
Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English.
Ready to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
Strong food and beverage knowledge.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $30 - $39
