Stagehand

Stagehands serve as intermittent staff for the Schottenstein Center and provide general support for special events, including load-in and load-out. Stagehands follow direction from staff and road crew, interact and communicate well, work safely as part of a team, and are flexible and accepting of changes in a creative environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
General labor including box pushing (70%)
Installing carpentry, staging, and props (15%)
Installing video, sound, and entertainment lighting equipment (15%)
Rigging installation/operation (based on experience and attendance of Schottenstein Center trainings)
Driving a forklift (based on experience and attendance of Schottenstein Center trainings)
Truck loading/unloading (based on experience)
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Experience handling show production equipment and using hand tools
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely, work at height from ladders and personnel lifts and have the ability to reach, climb and kneel.
