The Opportunity
Adobe is seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager to help scale Acrobat’s student business. This role will drive key pillars of the business from monetization and branding to end-to-end product experiences and go-to-market execution. You’ll lead critical workstreams while collaborating across an extended group, helping translate strategy into clear, high-impact execution.
Lead monetization strategy and execution
Define and evolve student packaging, pricing, and offer strategy across free and paid experiences
Partner alongside Growth and Lifecycle teams to build and optimize upgrade paths and conversion journeys
Support testing and scaling of student offers, including freemium entry points and paid SKUs
Drive branding and positioning for students
Help define and refine how Acrobat shows up for students globally
Translate product capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions and messaging grounded in real student needs
Ensure consistency across messaging from campaign to product experience
Own full-cycle product marketing for key experiences
Lead PMM for core student experiences from concept through launch and iteration
Partner closely with Product to develop roadmap inputs, define use cases, and ensure strong product-market fit
Build clear narratives that connect features to meaningful user outcomes
Influence the product development plan and priorities
Bring the voice of the student into product decisions through insights, research, and market context
Influence roadmap prioritization, ensuring alignment with growth and monetization goals
Identify gaps and opportunities across the student journey and translate them into actionable product inputs
Guide outbound creative and campaign assets
Working with Outbound teams, drive development of high-quality and relevant creative assets across channels (web, paid media, social, partnerships)
Partner with Brand and Creative teams to bring campaigns to life in a way that resonates with students
Ensure creative reflects both product truth and student context
Guide benchmarks, measurement, and performance tracking
Partner with analytics and growth teams to define success metrics across acquisition, activation, engagement, and monetization
Provide ongoing guidance on performance tracking and reporting frameworks
Translate data into clear insights and actions to inform GTM and product decisions
What You Bring
10+ years of experience in Product Marketing or related roles
Proven ability to lead complex workstreams within a broader team environment
Experience influencing product roadmap and cross-functional priorities
Experience with monetization strategy, including pricing, packaging, and lifecycle conversion
Strong foundation in branding, positioning, and go-to-market execution
Experience partnering closely with Product on end-to-end product marketing
Track record of developing compelling creative and campaign assets
Comfort working with data and guiding critical metric frameworks to drive decisions
Clear, structured communicator with the ability to influence across teams
BA/BS Degree preferred OR 10+ years of experience OR equivalent practical experience
Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $145,400 – $261,150 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $180,300 - $261,150.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
