Job Summary
The Style Setup Specialist is responsible for creating item setup for products in different ERP systems and maintaining the data integrity of item setup. Data integrity is the core function where detailed information affects all departments within the company. The Style Setup Specialist must be accurate and detailed in their work and maintain partnerships with different cross‑functional teams within the company. This position will work independently, and collaboratively with a team, and adhere to all rules, policies, and SOPs while striving to improve functions throughout the department.
Essential Functions
Perform data entry (item setup) in different ERP systems. Item setup information includes costing, coding, shipping information and other style attributes.
Ensure consistency in the quality work while meeting performance metrics in assigned work areas while creating a positive customer experience.
Cross‑check or troubleshoot information: once items are created, double‑check for accuracy by pulling an item report and correct any errors.
Communicate with cross‑functional departments (ex: Sales, Production, Logistics, Merchandising, Order Management/EDI) to verify item information.
Collaborate with leaders/team members through constructive feedback to support process improvements and cost reductions.
Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.
Qualifications / Requirements
High School diploma and 1-2 years of experience in the apparel industry and experience in ERP systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong communication skills as required for effective interpersonal communication with clients and other employees.
Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and a complex workload seamlessly with keen attention to detail and follow‑up.
Ability to be extremely flexible and adaptable in completing a diverse range of assignments in a timely manner.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under critical time frames, anticipating needs, be resourceful and function with professional discretion.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company.
