Position Summary
— This position is based in the College of Pharmacy and reports to the Senior Director of Development. The position coordinates, grows, and supports the College\'s annual giving and engagement programs to build meaningful relationships among alumni, donors, parents, faculty, staff, and friends to lead to philanthropic support. The role will focus on leadership annual giving ($1,500-$50,000) and is expected to meet or exceed pre-set metrics (meetings with prospective donors, solicitations, gifts closed, and overall dollars raised). Metrics are evaluated annually in collaboration with the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. The position will manage a portfolio of leadership annual giving prospects, document interactions in the GAIL database, and work with the Alumni Board on events and engagement activities. The role requires collaboration with a wide range of constituents and a track record in building relationships and increasing alumni engagement and giving.

Duties/Responsibilities
The duties are grouped into several segments with time allocations and specific tasks. The following responsibilities describe the role of the Annual Giving Officer within the College of Pharmacy:
Meet and/or exceed metrics established by the Senior Director of Development and the Division of Development & Alumni Relations, including meetings with donors and solicitations for annual giving
Manage a portfolio of leadership annual giving prospects and donors to strengthen relationships and identify giving opportunities
Travel as needed, including overnight trips and occasional weekend work
Develop and manage an alumni engagement strategy and portfolio of alumni and volunteer constituents
Manage the College of Pharmacy Alumni Board, coordinate board meetings and communications, and document constituent activity in GAIL
Participate in quarterly prospect management and strategy meetings
Plan and execute alumni engagement events and coordinate alumni visits to campus
Prepare proposals, presentations, and fundraising materials for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
Serve as liaison to annual giving, support campaigns, and communications to increase participation and support
Telephone and/or correspondence preparation and follow-up as required
Manage a pre-allocated travel budget and plan trips strategically
Attend College of Pharmacy events (e.g., White Coat Ceremony, Pinning Ceremony, Commencement, Homecoming) and participate in related meetings
Work with academic departments, students, and campus partners to guide alumni through engagement opportunities
Perform other duties as assigned
