A leading hospitality and membership-based experiential venue group is seeking a visionary commercial leader to drive revenue growth and brand impact across a flagship, high-profile location serving creators, innovators, and enterprise clients. The organization operates at the intersection of premium hospitality, cultural programming, flexible workspace, and high-end events, supported by an enterprise-grade infrastructure platform.

This flagship location is a landmark creative destination in New York City, housed in a historic early 20th-century building that has been thoughtfully restored to blend industrial character with elevated, residential-style hospitality. The property spans multiple floors and includes a diverse portfolio of offerings such as private event spaces, members’ lounges, office suites, a cinema-style screening room, a restaurant and café concept, and a range of boardrooms and flexible meeting environments designed for both intimate and large-scale gatherings.

The Role
The Director of Hospitality Sales & Marketing will lead all commercial strategy and execution for this flagship location, bridging lifestyle hospitality with enterprise-level sales. This individual will be responsible for defining how the business drives demand, monetizes its physical and experiential assets, and strengthens its market positioning in a mature and highly competitive market.

This leader should be passionate about the evolving intersection of meetings and events, private membership communities, and the transformation of how people work, gather, and experience physical spaces. The role reports into site leadership and is a critical part of the broader commercial organization as the business continues to invest in its flagship asset.

Key priorities include maximizing utilization across all spaces, elevating the member and guest experience, and ensuring seamless commercial and operational alignment across a complex, multi-use environment.

What You’ll Do:

Deliver multi-million-dollar revenue targets through strategic deployment of sales, marketing, and pricing strategies informed by demand patterns and seasonality

Partner closely with revenue management, centralized sales, and brand teams to align campaigns, optimize demand generation, and enhance client experience

Leverage client and member insights to inform product development, service delivery, and overall commercial strategy

Lead and develop a small but high-impact sales and marketing team, fostering a strong culture of accountability, performance, and client-centric execution

Build and manage strategic relationships across local market partners including hotels, venues, agencies, production companies, and enterprise accounts

Develop and execute localized sales and marketing initiatives to drive pipeline growth, increase off-peak utilization, and expand brand reach

Oversee marketing execution across digital, social, on-site, and partnership channels in collaboration with centralized brand resources

Partner cross-functionally with operations and membership leadership to ensure exceptional client and member experiences

Assess and improve commercial processes, driving operational efficiency and scalable best practices

Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting to inform business planning and resource allocation

What We’re Looking For:

7+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within high-volume hospitality, events, or experiential environments

Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience leveraging revenue analytics, budgeting, reporting, and KPI performance to drive results

Proven ability to lead teams through close collaboration across sales, marketing, and revenue management functions

Strong people leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams

Deep understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder hospitality or events environments and how to drive commercial success within them

Ability to clearly articulate brand positioning and differentiate offerings in a competitive market

Why Join?
This is a high-impact leadership role within a well-funded, high-growth disruptor in the hospitality space. You will have the opportunity to lead complex operations at scale, shape elevated guest and member experiences, and help drive the continued evolution of a globally recognized lifestyle brand.
