Senior Account Executive, Advanced Performance Materials Sales Team This senior‑level sales leader manages the organization’s most strategic, high‑value customer accounts across North America, serving as the primary escalation point for critical business issues. Based in Wilmington, DE (remote/hybrid allowed), the role reports directly to the Regional Commercial Director.
Strategic Account Management Own and accelerate portfolio growth of the organization’s most strategic, high‑value accounts, ensuring long‑term revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Manage day‑to‑day account activities including account planning, demand planning, opportunity management, price management, and more.
Build, maintain, and expand senior executive (C‑level) relationships, serving as the primary interface for all products and services.
Develop and execute long‑term account strategies aligned with company objectives and customer business priorities.
Identify, develop, and close new enterprise sales opportunities to expand share of wallet and create incremental demand.
Lead high‑stakes negotiations and enterprise‑level deal execution across complex commercial agreements.
Conduct regular strategic and status reviews with senior customer stakeholders to align needs with product and service strategies.
Raise the organization’s profile within customer organizations to drive demand and position as a strategic partner.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex commercial or operational issues.
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Impact Influence enterprise sales, application, and product development strategy and go‑to‑market initiatives through customer insights and market engagement.
Drive cross‑functional alignment across sales, product, supply chain, and operations to deliver customer solutions.
Mentor and develop early‑career account managers, strengthening organizational capability in strategic account management and commercial excellence.
Contribute to organizational growth by shaping account management best practices and customer engagement models.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in account management, channel management, or enterprise sales in polymers, performance materials, specialty chemicals or related industries.
Demonstrated success managing complex, high‑value enterprise accounts.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
Proven ability to build and sustain C‑level relationships.
Experience leading high‑stakes negotiations and closing enterprise deals.
Experience/knowledge of strategic markets including semiconductor, automotive, clean energy, aerospace, data center, etc.
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically.

Pay Range and Incentives Local currency: $141,120.00 – $220,500.00. Annual bonus target: 16%.
