NJ/NY Gotham FC (“Gotham FC” or “the Club”) is a National Women’s Soccer League team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ. The Role
The Partnership Marketing Coordinator supports the day‑to‑day management and fulfillment of Gotham FC partnership agreements. The role cross‑collaborates with marketing, fan experience, ticket sales, communications, and soccer operations to execute partnership activations, while also providing direct administrative support as needed. The coordinator must possess excellent communication, time‑management, organizational, and client‑management skills, and should be an upbeat, team‑player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about women’s sports.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Partnership Marketing Manager on the management and fulfillment of agreements for high‑level partnership accounts.
Act as a key contact with assigned partners, maintaining day‑to‑day relationships between partners and internal departments.
Deliver thoughtful and innovative partnership concepts that achieve joint partner and club objectives.
Collaborate with internal departments and partners to ensure contracted assets are in place and activated—including signage, events, media, and hospitality.
Evaluate partnership marketing plans regularly and recommend adjustments as needed.
Track and report media metrics for partner activations across linear, social, and traditional media platforms.
Create partner activation, theme night, mid‑year, and end‑of‑season recaps.
Support and manage hospitality for senior corporate guests.
Manage on‑site partner activation, including brand integration into Fan Fest, in‑stadium giveaways, and on‑field presentations.
Assist with additional team needs as assigned.
Maintain detailed partner databases and handle administrative tasks related to partnership agreements.
Coordinate logistics for partnership‑related events.
Collaborate with the department to monitor partnership progress and prepare regular reports on partnership status and impact.
Coordinate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent messaging and promotion of partnerships, assisting in content creation and showcasing successful partnerships.
Lead LED signage minute tracking for each match.
Serve as the Partnerships team point‑of‑contact for partner‑driven player appearances.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 1‑2 years of sports marketing or corporate partnerships experience preferred.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self‑starter with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Experience in Canva, Zoomph, or Asana preferred.
Capability & Other Characteristics
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a collaborative environment.
Sense of urgency paired with outstanding customer service skills and judgment.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Being bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, French, etc.).
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Location
Based at Gotham FC’s business office, 15 Exchange Place, Jersey City, New Jersey. The role follows a hybrid schedule with three core in‑office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and two non‑core days. Ability to attend all home games, mandatory events, and away games is required, as well as occasional travel for other business needs. Employees may also work at the team’s soccer operations office in Whippany, New Jersey, as needed. Gotham FC requires associates to live within reasonable commuting distance of the offices, practice facility, and stadium.

Salary range: $55,000 – $60,000 annually
