Company Overview Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas (DMAs), and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
Job Snapshot Solo Field Production: Shoot, write, and edit high‑quality news video for broadcast and digital platforms.
Linear & Streaming Expert: Produce and present extended, unscripted live content from the field for our newscasts and live stream.
On‑Air Presence: Present stories live in‑studio when anchoring and from remote locations when reporting, taking full ownership of the final content and delivery.
Digital & Social First: Write sharp, effective text copy for our digital sites and maintain an active social media presence.
Responsibilities As a three‑day‑a‑week nightside Multi‑Media Journalist (MMJ) you will innovate, shoot, write, and edit compelling content across every platform, from the linear newscast to a breaking news live stream. On weekends, you’ll report and co‑anchor our evening news. You will create content that connects with our viewers and tells stories for all platforms. As a weekend co‑anchor, you will go beyond the script, fuel meaningful conversations, connect with audiences, and bring curiosity, insight, and personality to every story.
Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of experience as a reporter and anchor is preferred. A reel that demonstrates your ability to shoot, edit and produce content will get you noticed. This is not an entry‑level position and requires a strong news gathering background.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $95,000.00‑$110,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union‑represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
