As a Director of Key Accounts, you will play a critical role in driving growth, delivering value, and strengthening relationships within the evolving logistics market. As a strategic consultant and trusted partner, you will take full ownership of key customer relationships—ensuring their needs are understood and met with innovative, value‑driven logistics solutions.
How you create impact
Serve as the primary relationship owner for strategic customer accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate within Kuehne+Nagel
Develop and execute account strategies, including value propositions, RFQs, and tender responses in collaboration with internal teams
Identify and drive new business opportunities to expand customer footprint, build a strong pipeline, and achieve high win rates
Lead structured business reviews with customers, aligning on priorities and driving continuous improvement through new ideas and solutions
Collaborate with global, regional, and national account teams to ensure consistent and effective customer representation
Share best practices and contribute to global Key Account Management initiatives and sales efforts
Monitor account performance, including volume, profitability, pipeline, and financial metrics, ensuring accurate reporting and timely action
Oversee the successful transition of new business to operations, ensuring all customer requirements and service commitments are met
What we would like you to bring
Proven experience managing key accounts within logistics, supply chain, or a related industry
Strong strategic thinking and consultative selling skills
Ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships at senior levels
Track record of driving revenue growth and delivering measurable business results
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and performance management capabilities
