Program Leader

Job Description

As a Program Leader, you will work with the Program Team to plan and facilitate fun and exciting activities for campers with a range of physical and/or developmental disabilities, from children to adults. You will design activities adapted to varying ability levels, assist counselors with campers’ daily personal care, and help coordinate evening programs and special all‑camp events during the five‑night sessions.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and facilitate activities tailored to campers’ diverse physical and developmental needs.
Assist counselors with campers’ daily personal care and support within the shared cabin environment.
Coordinate evening programs and special all‑camp events in collaboration with the Program Team.
Schedule and Location

The camp season commences on June 19th with staff training and concludes on August 21st. Employees must be available to reside on site throughout the camp session.
Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must pass a LiveScan background check, pre‑employment physical exam, and drug screen.
Vaccinations are encouraged due to communal living.
Must be able to reside on site during camp sessions.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and perform physically rigorous daily care tasks for individuals with severe physical disabilities.
Demonstrated experience in the program area you are applying for.
Desired Attributes

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desired, but a willingness to learn with an energetic and positive approach is more important.
