Instructional Media Services Technician, Senior – The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual to perform a variety of technical duties related to the distribution, operation, maintenance and repair of instructional media equipment, including audio‑visual media services such as video and audio taping, editing and duplication.

Position Information

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Location: Grossmont College

Current Vacancy: Grossmont College

Salary Category: CL‑30 – $23.96‑$29.96 per hour ($4,153‑$5,193 monthly based on 40 hours/week). Initial placement at Step A ($23.96/hr) or Step B ($25.33/hr).

Responsibilities
The incumbent is responsible for:

Distribution, operation, maintenance, and repair of instructional media equipment.

Providing audio‑visual media services, including video and audio taping, editing, and duplication.

Ensuring equipment is calibrated and functioning properly for instructional use.

Supporting faculty and students with media technology requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Two years of college‑level training or equivalent with specialized coursework in instructional media (audio‑visual communication) or related area.

Experience: Increasingly responsible instructional media experience.
