Responsibilities

Research, evaluate, design, deploy, and promote new collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, M365 collaboration solutions, Teams phones, and Endpoint Manager (Intune).

Act as liaison between vendors' engineering resources and the Video Operations team to coordinate escalations.

Maintain proactive monitoring platforms (Microsoft Teams Pro Management, Teams Admin, Logitech Sync, XIO cloud) and ensure adherence to global standards.

Provide day‑to‑day support during transitions and analyze collaboration tool usage patterns through metrics dashboards.

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of audio, video, and network connectivity AV equipment and peripheral equipment.

Research, design, and implement world‑class collaboration experiences using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Microsoft Teams Phone, Microsoft Intune (MDM), Microsoft Surface Hub, and audio/video solutions.

Enhance end‑user adoption and functionality of collaboration technology through technical documentation of solutions and procedures.

Provide advanced level troubleshooting for Microsoft Teams, Windows OS, Active Directory/Exchange, and patch management support.

Perform site surveys, generate Bill of Materials, lead integration, testing, and installations of new facilities (conference rooms, etc.).

Provide life‑cycle refresh projections for AV/VTC infrastructure and AV equipment.

Evaluate, design, document, install, implement, test, maintain, operate, remove, upgrade, and modify video teleconferencing equipment systems and peripherals.

Provide client consulting and training on control interfaces and use of audio/visual and VTC equipment.

Assist in developing documents for design, implementation, test plans, maintenance plans, and other Video Services deliverables.

Lead upgrades and installations of systems across the enterprise.

Create annual and multi‑year plans for upgrades of existing equipment.

Research, recommend, and implement new and emerging technologies including video conferencing, desktop video conferencing, web conferencing, streaming and mobile video delivery, high‑quality video over IP, and conference room collaboration systems.

Complete site surveys and design solutions based on requirements.

Work closely with the PMO on planning, designing, and engineering new IT projects.

Create processes to improve business efficiency.

Provide full life‑cycle support on an enterprise level for video conferencing, network streaming, and audio‑visual technology.

Qualifications

Must have experience using scripting languages (PowerShell, etc.) to develop and automate processes and workflows.

Must have system engineering/administration experience with SaaS‑based collaboration platforms (Teams, Exchange, Intune) in a large‑scale enterprise.

Exceptional customer service orientation and technical expertise.

Hands‑on experience within the last 3 years with enterprise video conferencing solutions (Microsoft 365/Teams) and audio/visual technologies (conference rooms).

Experience in implementing and supporting streaming video.

Experience with Tandberg and Cisco Video devices, including end points and multi‑point control units (MCUs), and Crestron and Codex VTC units.

Programming language knowledge such as SIMPL, SIMPL+ desired.

Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and installing hardware including Polycom; Cisco MX/SX/DX/room kits/room 55/WebEx Teams boards; Microsoft Surface Hub; Crestron Air Media, Crestron processors, Crestron NVX and digital signage.

Experience creating BoMs, LoMs, rack elevations, and inventory sheets; understanding of basic networking and cable termination skills.

Experience with classified and unclassified IP video teleconferencing.

This position is onsite without the flexibility for telework.

Requires 10‑25% travel.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DOE Q‑level security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.

$136,000 – $184,000 (based on experience, geographic location and contractual requirements)
