As an expert in business development for the premier Healthcare M&A advisory practice in the middle market, you will work with our seasoned team of “A” players on a variety of matters as it relates to business development.
Key Responsibilities
Run point on ALL non-dental M&A opportunities and support dental M&A opportunities as needed.
Achieve annual revenue targets as part of a more comprehensive base plus commission-based compensation plan.
Work all inbound leads and cultivate new leads through outbound efforts.
Leverage appropriate channels of communication, including phone, email, and LinkedIn, to reach prospects.
Attending industry conferences.
Building and strengthening referral partners in the industry.
Build strong client relationships based on trust and confidence while ensuring the highest quality of service.
Work on a variety of prospective deals at every stage, from initial pitch to onboarding.
Gain a deep understanding of the TUSK practice platform, service offerings, industry profiles, and corporate finance concepts.
Communicate transactional frameworks, financial benefits, and complex strategic issues to prospects in a clear, concise, and relevant manner.
Market M&A services to prospects, develop client networks, and support efforts in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies.
Review development of financial models, valuation analyses, and research.
Work closely with TUSK’s analytics, M&A, and marketing teams.
Serve as liaison between potential clients and TUSK’s M&A advisors.
Maintain excellent CRM documentation by recording all prospect communication activities.
Develop and execute multi-channel cadences.
Track and communicate emerging trends in business and economics.
Identify partnership opportunities.
Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand.
Think critically when planning to assure project success.

You will report to Ryan Mingus, Managing Director, at TUSK Practice Sales. Ryan oversees all M&A and Business Development team members at the firm.
Qualifications
Required:
3-5 years of successful inside or outside healthcare sales experience
Enthusiasm to embrace, learn, and apply AI tools to improve efficiency and performance
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to learn complex subject matter
Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
Ability to travel at a moment’s notice
Based out of Charlotte
Preferred:
Degree in business, economics, or related field
