This position will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with the company's clients. The Assistant Account Manager’s primary responsibility is understanding client needs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. This person will serve as the liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and the successful delivery of products or services. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a customer‑centric approach.

Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as a client contact and support to various clients.

Support the internal team and the client by building and maintaining trusting client relationships while supporting high‑quality work and seamlessly assist in implementing projects.

Conduct calls, provide meeting minutes, prepare reports, and update clients on a regular basis.

Set up new customer projects in project management software (managing various marketing projects).

Pull, analyze, consolidate, and distribute performance analytics on a regular basis.

Collaborate with the team to support internal and external content development efforts.

Provide writing support across a variety of types, including newsletters, press releases, e‑mails, websites, and general marketing content and communications.

Responsible for proofing final edits of all customer‑facing documentation and presentation materials, including customer newsletters, emails, online and print advertisements, and collateral materials.

Assist with event planning for client working with internal and external teams.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Act as a point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests. Regularly communicate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges.

Collaborate and Coordinate: Clearly communicate progress and results to non‑technical stakeholders. Influence colleague collaboration. Demonstrate an ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate with other departments and internal/external support. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Analytical with the ability to analyze data and use it to drive business decisions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure client expectations are met.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English or Communications or equivalent experience in the related field required.

1+ year of work‐related experience as an account coordinator or intern in a communications field.

Experience in both project management and client management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent proficiency with Excel.

Above average proofreading skills.

Time management and multi‑tasking skills.

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Passion for industry and market trends.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.

Remote work, with the ability to come to the Norcross Office when needed.
