Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree
Valid Texas teaching certificate K-12 Music
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to motivate students
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of electronics a plus
Experience:
Experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Teach and manage the percussion studio, grades 6-12
Organize and implement all percussion sectionals
Organize and manage all electronics for the marching show
Organize and conduct the sixth grade band
Organize and supervise the band trailer and student crew
Team teach the fifth grade music course
