Paid Search Senior Analyst
Overview
The Paid Search Senior Analyst is the day‑to‑day steward of paid search media for assigned brands, supporting campaign development, activation, and ongoing optimization. You will build a deep understanding of client businesses and apply paid search procedures to help deliver against client objectives.

You will work closely with your manager to develop, communicate, and implement search recommendations, while owning hands‑on execution across platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, data‑driven, collaborative, and eager to continue building expertise in a fast‑paced and evolving search environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct keyword research and analysis to support new campaign builds and ongoing optimizations.

Gather and analyze performance data to support search plan development.

Structure campaigns by grouping keywords into relevant ad groups and developing ad copy and extensions.

Support the presentation of search recommendations and incorporate client feedback prior to campaign approval.

Build flowcharts and load authorized buys into Prisma following approval.

Generate and manage purchase authorization paperwork and ensure vendor countersignatures are obtained.

Traffic approved campaigns into search platforms, ensuring accuracy and proper QA.

Monitor and maintain campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments.

Actively monitor performance and competitive landscapes to identify optimization opportunities.

Develop and implement optimization and testing plans (e.g., search query mining, negative keyword management, keyword overlap analysis, testing execution).

Leverage platform tools, including automated bidding and performance signals, to support optimization efforts.

Pull and analyze campaign data to inform reporting and develop clear, actionable insights.

Complete campaign QA to ensure accurate implementation, pacing, and performance.

Build clear, concise quantitative analyses and data visualizations.

Participate in client status and reporting calls, including presentation of performance results.

Manage detailed monthly billing responsibilities, including invoice tracking, buy actualization in Prisma, and draft billing preparation.

Partner with client strategy and billing teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

Learn and apply relevant tools for reporting, analytics, and competitive analysis, including bid management platforms, Benchtools, and Google Trends.

Develop mastery of core paid search metrics and relationships (e.g., CPC, CPA, CTR, SOV).

Serve as a resource for Search Analysts by answering questions and supporting training needs.

Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, and media/vendor partners.

Complete required training programs and platform certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

1+ year of experience supporting paid search campaign development, management, and optimization.

Experience working within major paid search platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.

Amazon Retail Media experience preferred but not required.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to manage and interpret performance data.

Understanding of paid search and broader digital advertising fundamentals.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Resourceful, curious, and motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
