Social Media Manager

Hybrid | Twin Cities, MN | $20/hour

Lakeside Restoration is looking for a part-time Social Media Manager Intern to help grow our online presence and showcase the restoration, remodeling, and construction projects we complete throughout the Twin Cities.

This is a hybrid role with flexible hours. Some work can be done remotely, but the position will also require occasional on-site visits to capture photos, videos, before-and-after content, and project updates.

Responsibilities

Work with the marketing and sales team to create content that supports brand awareness, lead generation, and project promotion

Create and schedule social media content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok

Capture jobsite photos and videos, including before-and-after project content

Help write captions, project updates, and short-form promotional posts

Assist with organizing media files and building a content calendar

Identify opportunities to highlight completed projects, customer stories, team updates, and behind-the-scenes work

Help maintain a consistent brand voice for Lakeside Restoration

Track engagement and suggest ideas for improving content performance

Qualifications

Interest in social media, marketing, construction, real estate, restoration, or home improvement

Comfortable taking photos and videos on a phone or DSLR

Experience running Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn accounts

Strong writing and communication skills

Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Willing to travel locally to project sites as needed

Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or social media scheduling platforms is a plus, but not required

Part-time internship

$18/hour

Lakeside Restoration is a Twin Cities restoration and remodeling company helping homeowners recover from water damage, fire damage, storm damage, and other property losses. We work closely with homeowners, insurance carriers, subcontractors, and restoration partners to bring homes back to pre-loss condition or better.
