News Anchor/MMJ (Primary) - Kalb Are you a natural storyteller who lights up when the "On Air" sign glows? KALB, the dominant news leader in Alexandria, Louisiana, is looking for an Evening Anchor/MMJ who's passionate about storytelling and thrives in a digital-first newsroom. We aren't just looking for a "reader" — we want a journalist who can lead, innovate, and connect with our audience across Central Louisiana on every platform.

Represent the brand: Be a face of KALB in the community, building trust and connection both on-air and off.
What you bring:
The experience: At least two years of professional newsroom and on-air experience.
Sharp news judgment: You know what's a story, what's a "maybe," and how to pivot when news breaks.

Communication skills: You're effective with sources, viewers, and teammates in the newsroom.

The essentials: Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Why you'll love it here:
Market dominance: Work at the #1 station in the market, with the resources and reach to make a real impact.
Creative freedom: Your voice and ideas matter—you'll have a seat at the table in shaping coverage.
