Job Title:

Senior Brand & Communications Designer, Collectivus

Reporting Line:

Director Communications

Location:

Remote - US

The Collectivus portfolio of brands includes Dragon Shield, Southern Hobby, Merchant Guild, Sales First, and Sorted. As the group scales, there is a growing need for dedicated design capacity at the corporate level: leadership presentations, board and investor materials, marketing design support, brand templates, and cross-brand collateral.

This role fills that gap. The designer will work across the entire Collectivus portfolio, primarily supporting leadership and Collectivus shared services teams with high-quality presentations, corporate materials, and reusable brand assets. The role requires strong judgment in translating rough briefs and complex business information into polished visual communication. Marketing collateral, merchandise, and light digital design will also be part of the scope based on priority and business need.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Presentations & Corporate Materials

Design and produce board decks, investor presentations, and other supporting visual communication for leadership audiences.

Turn complex business information into structured narratives with clear visual hierarchy, not just slide polish, but storytelling.

Build and iterate on reusable presentation templates for recurring leadership meetings and quarterly reviews.

Support ad-hoc design requests from senior stakeholders across the group, often working from rough outlines or verbal briefs.

Manage version control and organize final assets so materials are easy to find and reuse.

Brand Systems & Template Management

Create and maintain brand templates, style guides, and asset libraries for the Collectivus brand, as well as the brands within the portfolio, as needed.

Ensure visual consistency across corporate and brand-level materials, working within each brand’s existing identity.

Adapt existing brand guidelines to new formats and use cases as the group evolves.

Produce email templates + newsletter content, ad creatives, social media assets, and campaign visuals when required by marketing teams.

Work with marketing leads across brands to ensure assets are delivered on time and on brief.

Coordinate with brand and marketing teams on launch campaigns, promotional materials, and priority initiatives.

Design merchandise and print-ready collateral for corporate activations or events.

Prepare production-ready files following print specifications and vendor requirements.

Light Digital Design

Create simple digital assets: corporate website support, landing page mockups, email layouts, promotional web graphics, and digital banners.

This is not a product design, UI, or web development role. Digital scope is limited to static or near-static visual assets.

Qualifications
Required

5-10 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showing range across presentation design, corporate materials, and at least one of: print, merchandise, or marketing collateral.

Strong candidates will come from presentation design, corporate communications design, or in-house brand design environments where they have regularly supported senior leadership.

Demonstrated ability to translate rough or incomplete briefs into polished, structured visual output, not just execute clean files from finished specs.

Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Proficient in PowerPoint and/or Google Slides, with the ability to produce executive-quality presentation decks.

Strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills.

Experience preparing print-ready files and working with production specifications.

Comfortable managing multiple concurrent requests from different stakeholders and prioritizing effectively.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across varied outputs and brands.

Good communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders who may provide ambiguous direction.

Nice to Have

Experience in gaming, collectibles, or hobbyist/enthusiast industries.

Familiarity with motion graphics or basic animation (After Effects, Lottie).

Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and workflows.

Interest in trading card games or collecting.
