Utilizing a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mentality, the full-time Production Engineer will craft, build, and maintain complex systems at scale in a remote environment, focusing on infrastructure management, automation, and incident response.
Key responsibilities
Monitor and resolve production infrastructure challenges across public cloud environments, including GCP and AWS
Identify and implement automated solutions to optimize code and operational tasks, reducing toil across the platform
Participate in incident response during critical issues and assist with root cause analysis to drive structural improvements
Required qualifications
2-4 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with production-ready configurations
Strong understanding of system architecture, distributed microservices, and self-healing systems
Experience with containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker across public cloud hosting providers
Proficiency in Python and Go, with experience in structural and automated scripting
Familiarity with metrics, monitoring, and alerting systems to maximize infrastructure visibility
