Responsibilities

Edit news and public affairs video for web – YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms;
Manage media storage and organization of footage and finished projects;
Oversee and adhere to quality control: audio, color correction, and other relevant video specs;
Manage multiple edits and ensure on time delivery;
Ensure all video content is delivered to channel managers;
Additional duties, as assigned.
Qualifications

A minimum four (4) years of relevant experience, including experience working as a video editor on YouTube- and social-first news programs or journalism sites;
Ability to edit digital video and proficiency with Premiere/Adobe Suite required;
Ability to adapt videos for use on various social media platforms;
Proficiency with media management tools and software;
Technical proficiency in remote content delivery;
Animation skills preferred.
Benefits and Compensation

This is a hybrid position. The hiring salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $74,000.00. The WNET Group offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment.
