Summary
The Senior Vice President of Sales will lead the growth and evolution of IMG Academy’s campus‑based sales organization—a high‑performance team that helps student‑athletes, teams, coaches, and event partners access the world’s most renowned destination for sports and education.

This leader will be responsible for leading sales and enrollment teams across a wide portfolio of IMG Academy programs and services, including boarding school, camps, team training, hosted events, and on‑campus hospitality. The Senior Vice President of Sales will be charged with ensuring every interaction is an opportunity to shape first impressions and reinforce IMG Academy’s core value, purpose and brand with clarity, care, and confidence. This role oversees a dynamic sales organization comprising 75+ professionals, including direct oversight of sales leadership, sales enablement, and training. We’re seeking a sales executive who brings both strategic foresight and operational discipline, with experience scaling multi‑channel, multi‑product B2C and B2B sales organizations. This person will build a culture rooted in accountability, trust, and mission alignment, elevating a team that believes in what we do, how we do it, and who we do it for.

Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy

Set and own the strategic vision for campus‑based sales across B2C and B2B lines, including youth development, elite team programming, and group/event experiences.

Identify new growth opportunities by market segment, customer type, and seasonal trends.

Partner with the marketing, product, and commercial operations teams to align offers, messaging, and capacity planning across sales cycles.

Lead, coach, and inspire a diverse sales team of 75+ professionals, including directors, student‑athlete advisors, camp advisors, account executives and enrollment and customer support specialists.

Build and scale a performance‑driven sales culture rooted in accountability, transparency, and purpose‑driven.

Develop and execute onboarding, coaching, and development programs to continuously upskill the team and improve retention.

Oversee the day‑to‑day performance of sales funnels across phone, SMS, chat, email, and CRM‑connected digital channels.

Ensure sales processes and scripts are tailored to different buyer personas including families, club coaches, athletic directors, and event partners.

Partner with commercial operations to build reporting dashboards and leverage data for continuous improvement in lead conversion, ARPU, cycle time, and show/close rates.

Customer Experience & Brand Stewardship

Ensure every interaction reflects the IMG Academy brand and reinforces our core promise: sports as a platform for life.

Design and execute customer journeys from inquiry through decision, working cross‑functionally to deliver a premium and consistent experience.

Use feedback loops (Customer Success metrics, including NPS and attrition) to continuously refine sales experience and drive improved satisfaction and loyalty.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Serve as a key commercial leader across the organization, partnering with counterparts in digital products, hotel sales, marketing, and commercial operations.

Act as a senior representative with high‑profile accounts, strategic partnerships, and VIP families during peak recruiting seasons or high‑impact events.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership, within B2C and B2B environments, particularly in service‑driven industries like education, sports, travel, or hospitality.

Proven expertise in sales strategy development, pipeline and territory management, and multi‑product bundling.

Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation, and sales enablement tools.

Strategic thinker with a strong ability to translate vision into clear, executable plans.

Skilled communicator and storyteller across diverse audiences, including families, executives, and partners.

Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities, with a bias toward data‑informed decision‑making.

Experienced in coaching, mentoring, and leading high‑performing sales teams.

Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment with complex, cross‑functional dynamics.

Adept at motivating and aligning teams around shared goals, driving both outcomes and culture.

Flexible and resilient in adapting to seasonal changes and evolving product offerings.
