Job Description
LRS Consulting Services is seeking a User Experience Researcher & Designer for an opportunity with our client in Fort Worth, TX. The role is part of the Experience Design and broader Marketing team, focused on understanding and shaping user needs to support our financial services for military families.

Key Impact
The user experience research and design will influence how the company communicates its unique value proposition to prospective clients, helping them choose our services for financial security.

Responsibilities

Execute design and/or research efforts, gather insights, and produce UX deliverables while mentoring others.

Elevate and improve UX maturity across supported teams.

Understand and influence stakeholders and agile teams to improve the user experience.

Plan, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative studies, including surveys, usability tests, and interviews.

Support workshops and facilitate research discussions.

Advocate for user research and design throughout the software development lifecycle.

Communicate research findings and design recommendations to business stakeholders, IT, marketing, and design leaders.

Integrate research into end‑to‑end client journeys and validate new designs through user feedback sessions.

Mentor junior researchers and designers.

Qualifications

Degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Interaction Design, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent real‑world experience.

4–7 years of experience in UX research and design, managing both qualitative and quantitative projects.

Proficiency with research and measurement tools such as Qualtrics and UserTesting.com.

Experience creating and using UX deliverables in tools such as Figma.

Strong understanding of current and emerging KPIs and success metrics (e.g., NPS, CSAT, CES, SUS).

Ability to translate insights into actionable stories and influence decision makers.

Compensation
The base range for this contract position is $50–$70 per hour, depending on experience and location. Individual pay is determined by role, level, job‑related skills, experience, and education.
