In this role you will be charged with growing your sales territory in both personal and commercial insurance. Responsibilities include identifying, cultivating, and nurturing prospects through the sales process. Our needs based approach helps people fill gaps in their current insurance programs and protect them from the unknown. Our agency provides the resources and training for you to operate at an industry leading level. Candidates should be self-motivated, tenacious, goal oriented, independent and outgoing. Insurance experience is not a requirement but a background in business to business sales is a plus. Responsibilities

Build relationships with individuals and business owners

Identify insurance needs and recommend solutions

Quote, bind, and service policies

Follow up with prospects and referrals

Collaborate with agency staff to provide exceptional customer service

Generate new business opportunities

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent required

Insurance Producer license

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have an aptitude for learning new programs and procedures

Team player with a positive, professional attitude
