Seeking a technical expert, the full-time Web Engineer Lead will design, enhance, and deliver the engineering framework for a global web presence, focusing on modern CMS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and web performance optimization in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
Drive modernization toward a scalable website architecture across multi-domain properties, implementing Core Web Vitals optimization and performance engineering
Establish advanced performance reporting using dashboards and monitoring tools, linking web performance metrics to revenue outcomes
Lead enterprise CMS transformation initiatives, managing large-scale migrations and ensuring alignment with business continuity and SEO/AEO preservation
Required qualifications
12+ years of hands-on web engineering experience with technical leadership on complex, high-traffic, multi-domain web properties
Deep expertise with Optimizely and WordPress, including backend work in .NET/C# and PHP
Proven experience in leading large-scale CMS migrations and cloud hosting on AWS and Azure
Strong command of Core Web Vitals and performance engineering tools like Lighthouse CI and New Relic
Technical SEO and AEO expertise, including structured data and generative platform discoverability
