About the Role
This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native).
The Federal Capture Director is a critical leadership role responsible for identifying, qualifying, and capturing strategic federal government opportunities. This individual will lead and manage the entire capture process, from opportunity identification through proposal development and award. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the federal contracting landscape, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of winning complex federal contracts.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience leading the full capture lifecycle in a Federal market, with a demonstrated track record of successful capture wins.
Deep understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other relevant regulations.
Expert-level knowledge of the Federal procurement lifecycle and acquisition process.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, government customers, and potential partners.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
Familiarity with sourcing tools like BGov, GovWin, SAM, and other platforms used for opportunity tracking.
Strong capability in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) and Google Workspace.
Travel may be required for training, conferences, or client visits.
US Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one).
Membership in professional organizations related to government contracting (e.g., AFCEA, etc)
