Director, eCommerce – Stuart Weitzman

Location: New York City

What will you be doing?

  • Direct daily website operations: Ensure site content, product presentation, promotions and merchandising support business goals.
  • Drive conversion and engagement: Use site performance, customer behavior and funnel data to improve conversion, engagement, product discovery and order value.
  • Lead website merchandising strategy: Manage assortment placement, product sequencing, category storytelling, content accuracy and seasonal refreshes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Partner with merchandising, planning, creative, technology, customer service and marketing to align website execution with product priorities, inventory position and brand storytelling.
  • Understand brand vision and strategy: Partner with brand leadership, creative and marketing teams to ensure the website reflects Stuart Weitzman’s broader brand ethos, product strategy and campaign storytelling in ways that support discovery, engagement and conversion.
  • Lead key initiatives: Influence cross-functional priorities to ensure website needs are represented in product, inventory, creative, technology and business decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing: Partner with marketing channel and CRM owners to shape traffic-driving, acquisition, retention and loyalty strategies, while optimizing landing experiences, product discovery, personalization and onsite conversion once traffic reaches the website.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, site operations, retail merchandising or customer experience.
  • Proven ability to improve website sales performance through merchandising, analytics, testing and cross‑functional execution.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce KPIs such as conversion, AOV, revenue per session, product engagement and checkout performance.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms, CMS tools, web analytics, testing platforms, digital merchandising systems and product data processes.
