Description
- Intermediate Band Director
- Intermediate Orchestra Director
- Fiddlers Director
- Jazz Band Director
- Advanced Orchestra Director
- Advanced Band Director
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate with the JX‑Music endorsement required
- Experienced in teaching grades 5–8
- Working knowledge of band and orchestra literature
- Working knowledge of instrument pedagogy
- Ability to motivate students
Responsibilities
- Choose and order music
- Order supplies for the group
- Submit invoices to program administrator
- Run 14 rehearsals
- Conduct concert
Compensation
In accordance with the Master Agreement, Appendix E, All Directors: Club, Class I — $988.38.
