Regional Manager – Central Texas
Location: Austin, Texas – Must reside in Central Texas area.

Job Description
The Regional Manager in Central Texas is responsible for recruiting prospective students and promoting Texas State within the region. The position supervises a team of Admissions Counselors, oversees all recruitment activities, and provides mentorship and support to staff.

Job Duties

Supervise the admissions counselor team, including hiring, training, holding regular individual and team meetings, and mentoring staff.

Oversee recruitment activities in Central Texas, including visits to high schools and community colleges, presentations, admissions events, and communication with students, parents, and counselors.

Identify, recruit, and enroll prospective students through extensive travel, counseling families on the college selection process, evaluating academic credentials, communicating admission decisions, and preparing correspondence and statistical reports.

Assist faculty and other departments in recruitment efforts, network with service and academic departments, and report statistical data on admissions and recruitment.

Suggest minor process modifications to enhance departmental performance and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Available to work evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.

Demonstrated working knowledge of the Central Texas area and its dynamics.

Three years of professional experience in college admissions.

Effective and accurate written communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Texas State employee or alumnus.

More than three years of prior experience in professional college admissions.

Experience with event coordination.

Experience working remotely.Bilingual Spanish.
