Position Purpose
To perform in the media specialist role this team member will provide high quality interpersonal communications and output to support corporate goals and objectives. Team member will assist in planning, creating, and editing print/photo media content based on the needs of Human Resources, Employee Engagement, and various other departments within the company to ultimately promote the corporate mission. The created media will reflect excellent visual and written material tailored to the brand and whatever internal or external campaign is at hand. Graphics must show professionalism in design and be cohesive with our brand.
The successful individual will possess a positive attitude, unquestionable integrity, excellent customer service and be detail oriented. In addition, be able to demonstrate the ability to learn new material and software packages quickly as well as a strong commitment to process driven outcomes and the ability to work with sensitive, confidential information. This position reports to the VP of HR.
Responsibilities/Duties
Compose/design weekly and monthly content for internal & external communication distribution; including but not limited to:

Corporate Digital Calendars
Internal Engagement/Event(s) Informational Graphics
Manage Core Value Nominees & Create Media Releases
Manage Employee of the Month Media Releases & Certificates
Design Promotional Material for Recruiting Events
Manage and Update Organizational Charts
Ensure media content is appropriate, aligned with organizational standards and consistent with the brand’s mission and core values.
Manage, Update, and/or Redesign Professional Development Training Material
Drug and Alcohol Training
Expense/Concur Training
Sexual Harassment Training
New Hire Orientation Presentations
LMS 360 Learning Modules
Manage & add new users to LMS
Enroll new employees in needed training.
Enroll existing employees in needed training.
Monitor all employees for training completion and report statistics to the training manager as requested

Regularly enroll in LMS training to stay abreast of new technology and resources to be used within the company.
Support projects and objectives as required.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or a related field preferred.
High quality oral and written communication skills with the ability to present professionally to employees and business leaders at all levels of the organization and regulatory bodies.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Extremely high ability to maintain, enrich, and create positive working relationships with existing employees, new employees, and other entities related to task(s).
Adept in high-level decision-making and adaptability.
Well versed in and display unmatched customer service principles.
Strong attention to detail.
Fluid in navigating digital landscapes.
Have a keen eye for visually aesthetic design.
Must be able to arrange images, text, videos, and other elements in print and online publications to create an overall attractive and cohesive look aligned with corporate standards.
Five years of professional experience using media content tools including but not limited to:
Adobe Work Suite
Canva
InDesign, Coral and/or Photoshop
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications:
Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Publisher, PowerPoint, Planner
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, highly regulated, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines while staying organized and calm.
Organize and prioritize work with a high sense of urgency.
Working Conditions And Physical Effort
Work typically performed in an office environment utilizing computer and phone.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
