Responsibilities
Analysts are responsible for developing unique investment ideas based on rigorous policy analysis for a client base comprised of capital market and private equity investors. They interact regularly with politicians, regulators, policymakers, and investors across the U.S. financial services sector.

Ability to develop and discern high‑quality, value‑oriented investment ideas
Self‑motivation and ability to work independently
Passion for combining policy, politics, and investing
Education and Experience Requirements
Four‑year bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement
At least five years of experience in consulting, investment banking, policy analysis, or a related field
Strong MS Excel skills
Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident, eligible to work without sponsorship
Compensation and Benefits
The expected compensation for this role will be $135,000–$170,000 per annum, with eligibility in Capstone’s annual bonus pool. Capstone offers a competitive benefits package, including health, vision, dental insurance, paid vacation, travel stipend, and 401(k).
Location and Work Arrangement
This position is based in our Washington, DC office. Capstone is in‑person Monday through Thursday with flexible work from home Fridays.
