Job Description
LaowaiCaree is acting as a commission agency for China International School and is recruiting subject teachers. The role is for teachers who have experience in A-level, IB, AP, VCE, BC and other international curriculum systems.

Teaching Assignments
Subject teachers currently being recruited include: economics, business, art, drama, mathematics, sports, chemistry, biology, environmental science, computer science, psychology, history, literature, physics, and accounting.

Start date: August 2023

Working hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday

Student age group: 13‑18 years old

Class size: 10‑20 students per class

Weekly workload: Approximately 22 classes per week

Contract length: 2 years

Probation period: 2 months

Qualifications

Major relevant to the subject you teach or education.

At least 2 years of related subject teaching experience on IGCSE, A‑Level, IB, AP, VCE, BC, or equivalent curriculum.

QTS/PGCE or PGCEI highly desirable.

Age 22‑55 years.

Passionate and knowledgeable teachers of their subject.

Committed to the pastoral provision in the school and aware of the welfare of all students.

Committed to the co‑curricular programme, sharing with students’ area(s) of particular interest and providing academic extension and enrichment activities.

Support preparation for recruiting or marketing events.

Benefits

Salary range: 25 000 – 40 000 ¥ per month (based on teaching experience).

Housing allowance: provided.

Flight allowance: 10 000 ¥ per academic year.
