About the Role


The Company is seeking a Vice President and Chief Partnership and Business Development Officer to join its executive team. This pivotal role is focused on elevating business development and private revenue generation as strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the organization's partnership strategy, driving innovative revenue opportunities, and strengthening member value. This includes overseeing marketing partnerships, advertising sales, membership engagement, sponsorship strategy, and co-op marketing programs. The role also involves providing executive oversight of the Foundation, with a focus on advancing workforce development initiatives, scholarship programs, fundraising activities, and community engagement efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, with the ability to identify and cultivate strategic collaborations that enhance the visitor economy. An entrepreneurial mindset is essential for this position, as the VP & CPBDO will be expected to bring new ideas for sponsorship models, strategic partnerships, and signature events. The role requires a leader who can work closely with the Foundation Board and other stakeholders to ensure the long-term success and growth of the organization. A background in the hospitality or related industry, along with experience in a similar executive role, is highly desirable. The candidate should be a dynamic and strategic thinker, capable of driving the company's mission and vision forward.
