Job Summary

This role specializes in the specific discipline of advertiser‑sponsored custom content on Disney streaming and linear TV networks, wherein consumer brands (e.g., tech, auto, CPG, etc.) are combined with creative IP and platforms to create entertaining content and campaigns with a business purpose. Attend bi‑weekly brainstorms and generate marketing concepts that connect a wide spectrum of brands and advertising verticals with original DET titles and cultural/seasonal initiatives.
Get immersed in brand tone and voice and write copy for a variety of on‑channel videos and ad units, including custom shoots, clip‑based promo and copy‑driven graphics cards.
Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and editorial teams on solutions that run the gamut from 30‑second videos and social content to original short‑form series and 360º campaigns.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 5years of copywriting experience in production with a focus on branded content or co‑promotions, or consumer marketing/creative agency with content creation responsibilities.
Highly knowledgeable of Disney’s streaming platforms, TV networks and shows, ad products, and entertainment content and already an avid viewer with ideas that can integrate seamlessly.
Experience developing and writing innovative, best‑in‑class creative and branded content.
Act as a lead during client meetings including, but not limited to, client pitches and kick‑off calls.
Strength in writing presentations, decks, and proposals.
Ability to work closely with production and editorial to fully realize best‑in‑class storytelling.
Proactively produce new ideas and opportunities based on innovations within the marketplace.
Comfortable being on‑set and writing “on the fly” if needed during production.
