Job location: Information & Technology Services, Kissimmee, 817 Bill Beck Blvd (SSSD).
This specialized position is responsible for implementing and managing a variety of Community Relations programs, marketing and communication initiatives, and special events for the district. The role assists in creatively promoting the School District and sharing information with the community through effective communication efforts.
Responsibilities

Implement and manage Community Relations programs.
Plan and coordinate special events.
Develop and execute communication initiatives.
Promote the School District through creative outreach.
Inform and engage community stakeholders.
Qualifications

Associate’s Degree, High School Diploma, or GED plus two (2) years of related experience.
Five (5) years of experience in special event planning, marketing, or public relations.
Good communication skills and ability to work well with a wide variety of people.
Considerable knowledge of the School District and the community.

Compensation

Minimum salary: $43,674 per year.
