Position Summary
Walmart Connect is the retail media business within Walmart, Inc. We were created to keep up with the changing world of Walmart customers by offering more than just media. Walmart Connect helps brands connect with customers more often and more meaningfully through omnichannel experiences. Our digital advertising business is important to Walmart's overall strategy, which is why we're excited to grow and open up this opportunity to join this high visibility, mission-driven team within the world's largest retail company.

What you’ll do

Consult with cross‑functional partners to create custom advertising solutions that address both short‑term and long‑term customer needs.

Communicate effectively with colleagues across different departments or specialties within an organization.

Leverage the strengths and skills of each team to achieve common goals and articulate ideas, plans, and priorities to team members across different functions while actively listening to input from others.

Manage financial results in an assigned area of responsibility, including revenue generation, budgeting, and cost efficiency, making decisions that positively impact the organization’s financial health.

Implement effective sales strategies that maximize profitability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Leverage data and metrics to analyze problems and evaluate potential solutions, demonstrating creative thinking, analytical reasoning, and the application of sales knowledge and experience.

Differentiates between symptoms and root causes to ensure effective problem‑solving for sales‑related problems.

Establish, maintain, and improve relationships with clients and colleagues, creating a strong client base and fostering a positive work environment.

Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities.

Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team‑based work environment, and conducting regular performance evaluations.

Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others.

Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives and consulting with stakeholders for improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.

Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.

5 years’ experience in brand advertising (e.g., television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.

5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.

5 years’ experience managing client accounts.

5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C‑suite clients.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Psychology, Advertising, Marketing, or Business.

Additional Compensation

Annual salary range: Hoboken, NJ – $108,000.00 – $216,000.00; Bentonville, AR – $90,000.00 – $180,000.00.

Performance bonuses (annual or quarterly).

Stock options.
