the client is seeking a Senior Vice President of Marketing to lead the company’s global marketing strategy and drive the creative vision, planning, and execution of marketing initiatives for its frontline roster of recording artists. This role blends artistry and analytics, requiring a strong understanding of music culture alongside strategic marketing acumen to develop and amplify artists on a global scale. The Senior Vice President of Marketing will work closely with artists, managers, internal teams, and external partners to shape and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, overseeing new music release planning from concept through execution. Responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for artists’ music and music-related products such as singles, EPs, albums, music videos, visual content, merchandise, and direct-to-consumer initiatives. The role will lead cross-functional teams and partners to deliver cohesive, results-driven sales, marketing, communications, and content strategies for each artist and release, while fostering alignment and transparency across departments by communicating goals, updates, and project performance to internal teams, artist management, and external partners. The Senior Vice President of Marketing will also serve as the primary liaison with artists and management to shape commercial and marketing approaches that drive visibility, engagement, and revenue. The role includes leading strategic planning and release meetings to align stakeholders across all phases of campaign execution, analyzing performance metrics across streaming, sales, radio, and social to identify trends and refine tactics in real time, and guiding partners in evaluating and forecasting market opportunities for each release. The Senior Vice President of Marketing will develop and activate creative marketing ideas to amplify artist exposure and deepen fan engagement through performances, grassroots marketing, collaborations, and promotional appearances. Additional responsibilities include building and managing campaign timelines, establishing and managing project budgets with responsible financial oversight, and ensuring accountability for deliverables and milestones.
