Responsibilities Take responsibility for leading, management, profitability and direction of HDR's Hawaii Architecture Studio.
Lead development, implementation and monitoring of office operating plan and budget.
Actively participate in development and implementation of the office strategic plan in cooperation with business groups, marketing and operational management.
Monitor key business performance indicators, and take actions necessary to meet studio goals.
Oversee hiring, performance evaluation, staff development, training and recognition.
Manage project staffing and workload balancing.
Maintain key client relationships and occasionally serve as Project Principal.
Partner with Regional Market leaders to guide/lead development of business opportunities in the local Hawaii Markets with a preference for prior experience and understanding of any one of HDR Architecture's core markets in Health, Higher Education/Science, Civic, Transit and Federal.
Communicate, implement, monitor and enforce company policies within the studio.
Participate in quality assurance of project quality control procedures, risk management reviews, business reviews and disputes resolution activities.
Serve as a key leader representing HDR in the local market and the community.
Preferred Qualifications Maintains a professional Architecture registration and has extensive related technical management experience.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
Outstanding leadership, communication and team‑building skills.
Experienced in management and development of diverse teams.
Work cooperatively with company operations managers, business group and technical directors and marketing managers on departmental efforts.
Committed to quality, improvement and promoting HDR values.

Compensation & Benefits Expected compensation range: $143,000–$205,170 (full‑time regular positions).
