Director, Commercialization and Supply Chain
Location: North Salem, NY (On-site)

Role Description
Compensation:

$80,000–$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

The Director of Commercial Operations and Supply Chain is responsible for driving both commercial growth and operational excellence across Maadho’s business. This position serves as the bridge between Sales and Supply Chain, ensuring customer commitments are successfully executed through strategic sourcing, procurement, quality assurance, inventory planning, and operational execution.

Approximately half of the role focuses on supporting revenue growth through sales strategy, customer relationships, pricing, and business development, while the other half oversees procurement, supplier management, quality control, commercialization, and supply chain performance.

The Director works closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and international manufacturing partners to ensure products are delivered on time, meet quality expectations, and achieve profitability goals. This individual will lead the Commercial Operations team while continuously improving internal processes and developing scalable systems to support Maadho’s rapid growth.

Responsibilities
Commercial & Sales Leadership

Partner with the executive team to develop commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.

Support key customer relationships, contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and major account implementations.

Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and market opportunities to identify new business growth.

Collaborate with the sales team on forecasts, customer launches, and strategic account planning.

Lead commercialization efforts for new customer programs and product launches.

Develop KPI dashboards to monitor sales performance, margins, forecasting accuracy, and customer service metrics.

Supply Chain & Procurement Leadership

Lead the Procurement, Supply Chain, and Commercial Operations teams.

Manage strategic sourcing initiatives with domestic and international manufacturing partners.

Oversee supplier performance, purchasing, inventory planning, and production schedules.

Develop procurement strategies that improve cost, quality, and service while reducing supply chain risk.

Ensure inventory levels support customer demand while optimizing working capital.

Coordinate closely with logistics and warehouse operations to improve order fulfillment and delivery performance.

Quality Control & Product Management

Oversee Maadho’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs.

Ensure products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Manage supplier audits, corrective actions, product testing, and quality improvement initiatives.

Work with overseas factories to resolve manufacturing issues and implement preventive actions.

Standardize product specifications, documentation, and quality processes across suppliers.

Leadership & Operational Excellence

Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality.

Implement scalable processes, SOPs, and performance metrics across departments.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, inventory management, and margin analysis.

Support long-term strategic planning, supplier diversification, and operational expansion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).

7+ years of leadership experience in commercial operations, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or distribution.

Strong understanding of sales strategy, pricing, procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

Experience managing supplier relationships, preferably with international manufacturers.

Knowledge of quality systems, product compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and leadership abilities with experience presenting to executive leadership and customers.

Experience within foodservice packaging, retail distribution, manufacturing, healthcare products, or industrial consumables is highly preferred.

Proficiency with ERP systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and business analytics tools.
