Senior Staff, Field Application Engineer – NA Enterprise/Commercial Channel

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is a world‑leading provider of connectivity and AI solutions. The Senior Staff, Field Application Engineer will work with strategic commercial channel partners to drive adoption of Qualcomm’s Windows on Snapdragon compute platform across enterprise accounts.
Overview

The Senior Staff, Field Application Engineer’s pre‑sales focus includes technical sales enablement, device evaluations, pilots, proof‑of‑concepts, and acting as the voice of customers and partners back to product, engineering, and marketing teams.
Responsibilities

Assist with execution of Qualcomm’s Worldwide Enterprise Compute Go‑To‑Market strategy across the NA Commercial Channel.
Support NA Commercial Channel teams through deep technical engagements with IT implementers and assist with device evaluations, pilots, and proof‑of‑concepts.
Lead technical sales enablement for strategic channel partners including CDW, Insight, Connection, SHI, and TD Synnex.
Evangelize solutions to enterprises leveraging Qualcomm technologies including Windows on Snapdragon, Industrial IoT, Small Cell Technology, and Extended Reality.
Report Windows on Snapdragon related issues and bugs to Qualcomm Customer Engineering based on findings from the enterprise customers and partners.
Preferred Qualifications

Technical sales management expertise with ability to manage change across organizations and customers.
Experience building complex solutions and driving new device adoption in large enterprise accounts.
Experience supporting launch of new technologies or products.
Strong communication, educational, and evangelism skills, both internally and externally.
Excellent interpersonal, creative problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field AND 6+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.
OR Master’s degree AND 5+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.
OR PhD AND 4+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.
Travel

Travel expectations will be approximately 50‑70% with preference for candidates residing near a major international airport.
Compensation

Pay range: $133,500.00 – $200,500.00. Additional benefits include a competitive discretionary bonus program, RSU grants for eligible employees, and a comprehensive benefits package.
