Leading the design for the Foundation pillar, the remote UX Director will manage a team of 5-7 UX designers, focusing on enhancing the trial experience, onboarding, and activation flows to improve developer engagement and retention.
Key responsibilities
Lead UX strategy and ensure design quality for the Foundation pillar, maintaining standards across all surfaces
Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering in the Foundation triad to influence product direction and advocate for user needs
Manage and develop a team of UX designers, providing actionable feedback and fostering a culture of critique within the design team
Required qualifications
10-12+ years of experience in product design, UX, or related fields with a focus on design quality and user outcomes
Proven track record of managing and developing a team, with direct reports who have advanced under your leadership
Experience co-owning product direction within a triad, actively contributing to roadmap discussions
History of establishing and upholding a quality bar for design work, not just contributing as an individual contributor
Domain experience in designing for developer tools, self-serve B2B SaaS, or products targeting engineering users
