Audio/Visual Technician Intern

and gain hands‑on experience supporting the technology that powers meetings, presentations, classrooms, and special events.

This internship is designed for students and aspiring IT or media professionals who want to build real‑world skills working with professional audiovisual systems. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, learn industry best practices, and play an important role in creating seamless experiences for our staff, guests, and event participants.

What You’ll Do
As an Audio/Visual Technician Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Set up and operate professional audiovisual equipment for meetings, conferences, trainings, and special events.

Support live presentations by ensuring audio, video, and presentation technology runs smoothly.

Assist with hybrid and virtual events using platforms such as Microsoft Teams.

Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and confidently during live events.

Learn to configure projectors, displays, microphones, sound systems, cameras, and digital signage.

Help install, maintain, and organize A/V equipment and infrastructure.

Participate in equipment testing, preventative maintenance, and inventory management.

Work closely with IT professionals and event coordinators to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Build technical knowledge through hands‑on learning and mentorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a technical program, college, or university in Information Technology, Media Production, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.

Basic familiarity with computers, networking, or audiovisual equipment.

Experience with Microsoft Office and video conferencing platforms is a plus, but we’ll help you learn the rest.
